Test Engineer (f/m/d)

In this role, you ensure Hilti's installation products deliver the performance and reliability our customers expect by driving focused, high‑quality testing. You partner with development, product care, and complaint‑handling teams to provide the testing insights that keep our products safe, strong, and continuously improving. By running and representing the test facility, you create the foundation for meaningful product excellence.

What You'll do

  • Define validation concepts and create clear test instructions
  • Plan and coordinate all required tests, including time, effort, and resources
  • Execute or oversee handling, functional, and load tests with high accuracy
  • Analyze, process, and document test results to support development and product care
  • Maintain and improve test equipment, manuals, and the overall test facility

What You'll Bring

  • University Degree (BSc or MSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
  • Strong communication skills in english for cross‑functional alignment
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation
  • Project management skills to plan and track testing activities
  • Skills in technical failure analysis and accurate result documentation

This position is classified under the collective agreement for metal trade employees in employment group III, which sets a minimum gross monthly salary of EUR2,727.40 for a full‑time role (38.5 hours per week). At Hilti, we value your expertise and offer a highly competitive compensation package that clearly exceeds this benchmark. As a starting point, you can expect a minimum annual gross salary of EUR55,000 (including 13th and 14th salary as well as bonus payments).
