As an Experienced Designer (m/w/d) in Turbo Technology, you contribute to the development and design of turbocharger components and system modules within modern powertrain architectures. You support engineering projects by creating and reviewing designs, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and contributing to efficient product development processes.

Experienced Designer (m/f/d) Turbo Technology

LOCATION: Gunskirchen • START: IMMEDIATELY

Your responsibilities

  • Design and develop components and modules within turbocharger and powertrain systems.
  • Create and review technical drawings in accordance with Rotax design standards.
  • Plan and execute assigned design work packages considering functionality, manufacturability, cost, and timelines.
  • Support engineering change processes (ECR) and contribute to BOM creation and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, project management, and cross-functional stakeholders, as well as component- and subsystem suppliers.
  • Share expertise in engineering tools such as CAD and SAP and support other designers.
  • Monitor design progress, report status, and coordinate testing or validation activities when required.
  • Ensure proper integration and interaction of components within the overall system architecture.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of design methods, technologies, and benchmarks.

Your profile

  • Technical education (HTL) or university degree (Bachelor/Master) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in engine, turbocharger, or powertrain development.
  • Experience with CAD tools and engineering systems, preferably CREO.
  • Passion and in-depth expertise in the field of internal combustion engines and their technical components.
  • Passion for motorized recreational vehicles and Rotax powertrain systems.
  • Structured and solution-oriented working style with strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent German and English skills.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 47,546.97 EUR gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry.
