Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

• Increase Lenzing specialty business (volume / premium / customers)
• Cooperate directly with Specialty Applications team, TMD, quality, commercial, operations and internal Research and development organization
• Develop a Lyocell wetlaid process / application exchange platform within the global business
• Technical responsibility for selected nonwoven customer relationship management.
• Provide value-added solutions promoting Lenzing's specialty fibers and identify opportunities for growth
• Build application development programs and new product innovations
• Customer education on Lenzing fibers to maximize utilization and reduce complaints.
• Develop synergies/innovations with machine manufacturers to utilize Lenzing fibers mentor the TMD team to develop talent and further the delivery of the Lenzing service package

Our expectations for this exciting role

• Extensive experience in wetlaid based nonwoven technologies relevant for the processing of LENZING(tm) Lyocell fibers
• 7+ yrs experience in a position with direct customer contact
• Degree in pulp or paper engineering, material science or similar
• Understanding of Lyocell shortcut fiber manufacturing process
• Exhibit personal skills for building close relationships with customers and colleagues, team-player, both virtually as well as face to face
• Empathetic person with hands-on mentality, good listener, solution-oriented
• Ability to translate customer needs and critical issues into action plans for value added solutions
• Advanced IT skills (MS Office, MS Outlook, CRM), willingness to travel
• Language Business English (B2), additional European languages are a strong plus

The gross salary for this position according to the collective agreement in the Austrian chemicals industry is EUR 63.000, before tax, based on 38 working hours/week with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience. Other locations than Austria are also eligible for this role, local terms will apply.
