Do you have the required Data Science and/or Data Engineering skills coupled with a true product mindset to drive real impact at one of the most recognisable brands globally?

The Data Cloud Platform Manager is responsible for driving the success of Red Bull's Data Cloud Platform (Snowflake) in close collaboration with Global IT. You'll find and flag relevant data sources to be made available in Snowflake, co-develop and implement a governance concept, co-develop and facilitate trainings, communicate around the platform and its capabilities, and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders within Red Bull.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

FIND, FLAG, AND PRIORITISE DATA SOURCES TO BE MADE AVAILABLE

You'll be responsible for finding, flagging, and prioritising internal and external data sources to
be made available in our Data Cloud Platform by talking to your network of internal stakeholders and aligning those demands with our IT counterparts as well as the broader analytics community.

GOVERNANCE PROCESS DEVELOPMENT

You'll support in the ideation and implementation of the necessary governance processes such as: authorisation concepts, tagging, file-naming conventions, approval processes, etc. You'll collaborate and align very closely with our IT counterparts and analytics framework owners on this and other topics.

PRODUCT CO-OWNERSHIP

You'll propose, discuss and align feature roadmaps for the Data Cloud Platform with our IT counterparts, based on feedback from the broader analytics community. You'll also be responsible for demonstrating the success of initiatives made possible due to the availability of the Data Cloud Platform to Senior Leadership.

TRAINING AND COMMUNICATION

You'll share best practices with the community, co-develop training and communication materials with IT and offer hands-on support to colleagues and stakeholders. Furthermore, you'll create and maintain Sharepoint information materials and presentations, targeting among others the broader analytics community.

HANDS-ON SUPPORT & GUIDANCE

You'll support members within the Data Science teams - as well as the broader analytics community - with tips, best practices, and hands-on support by being easily accessible and eager to drive shareholder value. You'll also manage Data Science's personal workspace on the Data Cloud Platform ensuring everything runs smoothly and optimally.

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • Masters in relevant field, for instance: Tech, Engineering, Mathematics, Science (incl. Computer / Social).
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Science and/or Data Engineering.
  • Proven experience working with Snowflake, Python, SQL.
  • Stakeholder Management: skilled at building mutually beneficial connections with functional stakeholders is a plus.
  • Product Mindset: skilled at taking ownership of Product roadmaps is a plus.
  • Data Governance: understanding of governance principles a plus.
  • Presentation Skills: present coherent data stories at the appropriate level of abstraction given the audience.
  • Travel: 0-10 %

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
