As a Data Architecture you will need to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand and align the business needs with our data architecture. Drive the development and implementation of solutions that optimize processes and working closely with multidisciplinary teams for strategic decision-making.

In this role you will help to develop and enforce our data management guidelines in accordance with our process management guidelines. You will work in close collaboration with our Process & Data Organization and technical Data Experts including other divisions within the PALFINGER Global Organization. If you possess an affinity for data, like to interact with experts from various fields of expertise and you love to think in a holistic way and keep an eye on the big picture while having a strong hands-on mentality, this is just the job you are looking for!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination of Data Architecture Development:

  • Actively contribute in integrating data architecture within the framework of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for data architecture.
  • Assist in the design and planning of data models and structures.

Oversight and Maintenance of Databases:

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases.
  • Support in ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.

Data Management Coordination:

  • Support in defining data standards and guidelines.
  • Participate in monitoring data quality and coordinating measures for data cleansing.

Data Integration Coordination:

  • Assist in developing data integration strategies and processes.
  • Coordinate interfaces between different systems and data sources.

Coordination of Data Process Optimization:

  • Assist in identifying bottlenecks and weaknesses in data processes.
  • Support in the coordination of optimization measures for efficient data management.

Collaboration with Other Teams:

  • Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other relevant teams.
  • Coordinate alignment of data architecture with company goals and requirements.

Data Security and Compliance Coordination:

  • Support in the implementation of security measures to ensure data protection.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with legal regulations and compliance guidelines.

Monitoring and Reporting Coordination:

  • Assist in introducing monitoring tools to oversee the data infrastructure.
  • Support in generating reports and analyses on the performance of data architecture.

Qualifications

Education and Studies:

  • Completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification preferred but not required.
  • Additional certifications in data management are advantageous.
  • Additional certifications in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF) are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience:

  • Professional experience in supporting the development and coordination of data architectures.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze complex data requirements and problems.
  • Familiarity with the application of analytical tools and methods.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.

Coordination Skills:

  • Ability to coordinate effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness for continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies.

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 50.286,18 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
