We are currently looking to recruit a Zone Leader- Electromechanical for our location in Vienna, Austria.

The Zone Leader Electromechanical is responsible for the integration and installation of the electromechanical equipment of the Product Family (PF) Flexity vehicles. Design development should be based on maximizing existing building blocks and following global processes and standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Technically assure deliveries according to the project plan, milestones and budget of concept design, preliminary design and detailed design for the VPI Zone. In addition, compliance with the current Best Cost targets for headcount and hours.
• Overall WPs activities and planning, progress monitoring according to project plan.
• Regular reporting to PF Head of sub function and PDMs on activities progress and potential issues.
• Assure correct technical reequipments are identified in project WPs, project plans, including resource capability requirements, methodology and workflow definition for the VPI Zone.
• Assure effective Change Management and Requirement Management in place.
• Assure proper links to other functions within Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Operations.
• Assist and assure design solutions, preparation/execution of various Design Reviews (internal & external)

Key requirements:

• You preferably have a master's Degree in Engineering or the equivalent experience.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in 3D-design work. Preferably in harness integration.
• Min 3 years of functional work experience and team coordination;
• Leadership Skills in coordinating up to 2 medium teams, achieving project milestones and interfacing with different departments
• Soft skills: communication, drive for result, flexibility, problem solving

The minimum salary for this position is 3.133,87 EUR gross / month (14 x) for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications.
