Job Description
As a CI/CD Engineer in our Software Infrastructure / DevOps team, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining the automation backbone of our complex, on-premise software landscape. You will design and operate modern CI/CD pipelines on Linux-based systems, build robust environments, and continuously improve our DevOps infrastructure to enable efficient and reliable software delivery within R&D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes across our software stack
- Build, test, package, and deliver artifacts using modern developer toolchains and dependency management systems
- Prototype and introduce new CI/CD features in close collaboration with developers and the DevOps Team Lead
- Design and implement system environments, including operating system platforms, images, and third-party software stacks
- Provide containerization and virtualization solutions to ensure scalable and reproducible environments
- Deploy, maintain and monitor DevOps infrastructure, including repositories, storage, backup solutions, databases, and static services
- Provide technical leadership for services, coordinating service requests, defining technical strategies, and aligning closely with internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or a related software infrastructure role
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse)
- Solid knowledge of Python and shell scripting
- Experience working with Linux-based systems in development and/or production environments
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Familiarity with version control systems and modern build and package management tools
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and storage systems
- Independent and structured working style with strong analytical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, document technical solutions, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 62.000 EUR (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
