Project Manager Technology- & Process Development for a sustainable Nonwoven Technology (m/f/d)

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

  • Initiation, planning and execution of projects for development or optimization of process steps with internal and external partners
  • Significant contribution at transferring project results to commercial scale
  • Planning supervision and evaluation of pilot and commercial trials
  • Management of interfaces with R&D infrastructure, product development, quality, legal, business management, and technical customer service
  • Execution of literature and patent research
  • Initiation and drafting of product, process & technology patents

Our expectations for this exciting role:

  • Academic degree (university, FH) in textile/nonwovens, natural scientific discipline or (chemical) engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in nonwovens production
  • Experience in nonwovens Hydroentanglement, drying, slitting and winding
  • Nonwoven downstream experience in terms of production and commercialization (converting, processing, regulatory)
  • Background in sustainability related topics a plus
  • Experience in process troubleshooting & optimization of Nonwoven processes
  • Exceptional analytical problem solving, equipment vendor management skills, and strong computer skills
  • Six Sigma, DOE and SPC experience is a definite plus
  • Project management skills & experience beneficial
  • Mechanical aptitude for design changes/modifications
  • Willingness to travel
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with good communication skills
  • Experience in working in a cross-functional team

The annual gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 51,800,00 with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
