Senior Project Leader for Product Development (f/m/div)*

Do you want to take a deep dive into the development of high-voltage MOSFETs and even drive it yourself? As a new team member, you will manage your own product development projects across different sites. At the same time, you will carry out technical work including design and verification of your own products. This multitask role will bring you in contact with diverse colleagues from all over the world and will give you the chance to share and discuss your ideas with different people.

Job description

In your new job you will:

  • Lead product development projects including planning and distribution of work packages and tracking the project milestones
  • Align and coordinate project requirements in a world-wide distributed team (EU, US, APAC)
  • Collaborate with product marketing and application engineering to shape products for business success
  • Participate in the design and calculation of the chip dimensions and component parameters
  • Define electrical characterization of the developed components and evaluate the results
  • Support the qualification, failure analysis and troubleshooting activities during reliability tests
  • Support product development for new wafer technologies and in transfer projects between production sites

These qualifications help you master the job:

  • A university degree in electronics, microelectronics, physics or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of semiconductors - it is important to have solid knowledge about semiconductor devices. Particularly relevant is the know-how about power switches (ideally also including SiC and GaN devices)
  • At least 2 years of project lead experience
  • Leadership skills and flexibility to deal with changes during the project
  • Basic knowledge about statistics
  • Lab experience, ideally related to the characterization of semiconductor devices, would be a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English with German skills as a big plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H ( A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
