Job Description
- Development of automation and visualisation solutions for customised process and production plants
- Programming and further development of PLC software from scratch using Siemens TIA Portal
- Development, modification and optimisation of SCADA systems, particularly WinCC Flexible
- Technical coordination with customers and clarification of project-specific requirements
- Support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) and international commissioning activities
- Analysis, optimisation and continuous improvement of existing automation and control systems
- Close collaboration with Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Project Management teams
The Successful Applicant
- Completed technical education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering (apprenticeship, technical college, university of applied sciences or university degree)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in PLC programming, ideally within plant engineering or industrial automation
- Strong expertise with Siemens TIA Portal
- Solid experience with SCADA systems in industrial process environments, ideally WinCC Flexible
- Experience within plant engineering, the chemical, pharmaceutical, food or process industries is considered an advantage
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
- German language skills are beneficial but not required
- Independent, structured and self-driven way of working
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and quality awareness
- Willingness to travel internationally and participate in project-related commissioning activities
