At our location in Vienna or Graz we are looking for an AI Engineer (m/f/d).

As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions that support digital transformation across operational and project workflows. You will work at the intersection of machine learning, data science, and modern agentic AI technologies to build intelligent systems that create real business impact. Your mission is to transform business requirements into scalable AI solutions--leveraging LLMs, automation platforms, and low-code agent development environments--and contribute to a robust AI ecosystem aligned with organizational standards and strategy.

Your Role

• Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning and AI models, with a strong emphasis on LLMs.
• Build and deploy intelligent agents using low-code environments such as Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Implement automation solutions using platforms such as Power Automate to streamline workflows and integrate AI capabilities.
• Contribute to high-code AI development using Azure AI Foundry (preferred).
• Collaborate with data scientists, domain experts, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, security, governance, and compliance.
• Support design of scalable AI architectures, including modular agentic systems.
• Maintain documentation, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI systems.
• Stay up to date on emerging AI technologies and trends

Your Profile

• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning, AI, and LLM-based architectures.
• Experience in data science workflows (data preparation, training, evaluation, deployment).
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with ML/AI libraries.
• Experience with low-code AI agent development (Copilot Studio) and automation tools (Power Automate).
• Strong plus: experience with high-code AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry).
• Experience with cloud-based AI systems (Azure ecosystem preferred).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to structure complex problems and develop scalable AI solutions.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team spirit and ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn emerging AI technologies.
• Reliable, self-driven, and solution-oriented work ethic.

We are legally required to state the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR3.396,21 gross per month for this position. However, we offer market-competitive compensation depending on qualifications and professional experience. Please note that this position will be filled via an external company (leasing).
