Tasks

• At the beginning you will get to know our machines at our main plant in Leobendorf. You will then work together with an experienced service technician. Later, you will independently work as an important representative of our company at our customers worldwide.
• Worldwide implementation of service assignments (inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, conversions, modernizations) of our systems at the customer's premises, especially regarding to system controls
• Processing technical customer inquiries and supporting colleagues with a focus on mechatronics and automation technology (remote and on-site)
• Preparation of software/system faults in the form of reports for documentation purposes
• Advising customers on maintenance measures as well as operating and maintenance training
• General service activities depending on qualifications and experience: mechanics, electronics, automation, and cooperation with internal specialist departments
• Analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting of software issues on PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley), safety technology, frequency converters, etc.

Required qualifications

• High willingness to travel (approx. 70% with worldwide assignments)
• Technical training - apprenticeship/HTL ideally in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, and automation technology
• Knowledge and initial experience in programming freely programmable controllers (PLC controllers), WinCC, Flexible/Advanced, Step 7, TIA-Portal, Allen BradleyMotion controller advantageous
• Experience in reading system and circuit diagrams as well as basic knowledge of drive technology
• Willingness to mechanically assemble/repair complex machines
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office, SAP knowledge an advantage
• Conscientious, reliable and accurate way of working in all areas including reporting
• Customer-oriented and professional demeanor even in stressful situations
• Enjoy traveling and contact with other cultures

Remuneration

The gross annual salary is EUR 44.908,22 plus service technician bonus and various allowances. An overpayment in line with the market, depending on professional qualifications and experience, is envisaged. We would like to point out that your application will be treated in strict confidence.
