Job description

We are working on a revolutionary way to design analog circuits by using a programmatic IC design approach. If you are passionate about both hardware and software and on top on top of what would like to contribute to the open-source community, we have an exciting topic for you. As an important next step, we need help in building demonstrators based on existing open source tools and solutions such as BAG2 (Berkeley Analog Generator) and MOSAIC Orchestrator, which will be integrated into the Infineon design flow. In case you would like to contribute to the open-source community, Orchestrator demonstrator for virtuoso template and os_db_template are also options. You will get a chance to:

  • Work in a dynamic environment
  • Get the opportunity to enhance you programming skills
  • Get insights into the state-of-the-art semiconductor development

By collaborating with design methodology experts and analog IC designers you will actively contribute to the open-source community.

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

Profile

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of IC Design or similar technical studies and are best equipped for this task if you are familiar with IC Design know-how. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

  • Solid programming skills (Python as a plus)
  • Experience with Git and Linux
  • Multitasking skills and an independent way of working
  • A structured and precise working style
  • Fluent English skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf).
