We're looking for an Innovation Compliance Team Lead to strengthen our Global Innovation Department located at the international Red Bull Headquarter in Fuschl am See, Austria.

In this position you'll be responsible for the creation and checking of documents from a regulatory point of view. This includes topics such as new raw materials, recipes, processes, and compliance documents in general. You'll work closely with systems colleagues to ensure all innovation projects are fully compliant and documented and assist the development team by researching compliance topics globally. This role will require close contact with other business departments and external suppliers. As a team lead you will provide support to team members, including identifying areas of efficiency improvements and to contribute to process development procedures.


Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:


Create and check product data for finished products "ready for implementation"

Work with the product development team to ensure product compliance aspects within the development phase

Monitor relevant compliance requirements globally to ensure product compliance from conception to launch


Develop and continuously improve process to ensure product compliance and mitigate risk

Advise project teams on subjects such as premarket regulatory requirements, labelling requirements, or other product compliance topics.


Be a key contact for external suppliers and stakeholders

Work with the team to develop handbooks, training material and documentation

Ensure all technical and compliance documentation has been received, checked and filed correctly


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the food industry (or related area in terms of regulatory / analytical area)
  • Knowledge of food chemistry, nutrition & food law
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience of working as a team leader or manager
  • Knowledge of handling recipe management systems
  • Logical, analytical and structured way of working
  • Technical understanding and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, resilient and strong in communication
  • Degree in food science, food law, nutritional science or equivalent with relevant experience
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written. German is a plus.
  • Travel up to 10%
