We are looking for an experienced and talented General Accountant for our location in Austria. This position is based in our office in Salzburg.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local GAAP and US GAAP for the Dentsply Sirona Europe GmbH in collaboration with Global Booking Service
• Supporting monthly preparation of manual journal entries (accruals, deferred income bookings, etc.)
• Project involvement SAP S/4 go live
• Guide and ensure compliance to global policies and statutory requirements related to financial reporting
• Guide and ensure compliance to global data management mapping and methodology within AX and Hyperion systems
• Coordinate and collaborate with Supply Chain Accounting and Commercial organizations to ensure SOX compliance and related testing
• Timeliness and Accuracy of financial reporting according to US GAAP and other statutory reporting
• CFAM Policies and reconciliations
• Ensure that proper procedures, policies, and controls are in place
• Serve as contact person for internal and external auditors

Requirements

• Completed business education, Accountant certification ("Bilanzbuchhalter/in")
• Several years of excellent track record in Accounting with a large global organization, preferably with a publicly traded company
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and policies; US GAAP, SOX and high-level understanding of local statutory rules and regulations
• High analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written/oral communication skills in German and English
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP (Hyperion and Microsoft AX, SAP)
