Our customer HARPS Global is a fast-growing global manufacturer and end to end sales and distributor of infection prevention/protection products, predominantly medical and industrial gloves. HARPS Global was founded in 2015 by Malaysian entrepreneur Haziq Bin Zairel Oh, and HARPS Global acquired Sempermed in 2023. HARPS Global is currently focused on realising the benefits of the acquisition of Sempermed, including the expansion of its multi-million-dollar distribution network and the development of exciting new products.

We are looking for an

Demand & Inventory Analyst (m/w/d)

located in Vienna/AT.

The role

The Demand & Inventory Analyst supports the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) function by ensuring accurate demand forecasting and effective inventory management across Europe and the United States. The role focuses on data-driven planning, reporting, and analytics to maintain optimal service levels while supporting continuous improvement of planning processes and tools within an international, fast-paced and dynamic supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

Demand Planning

  • Support the preparation of regional demand forecasts using historical data and business input
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and help improve forecasting processes
  • Maintain and update planning assumptions used for demand forecasts

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels across warehouse locations in Europe and the United States
  • Place and track replenishment orders to maintain target stock levels
  • Maintain product-level inventory projections to identify supply risks or shortages
  • Calculate and maintain optimal inventory levels based on demand trends
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status (e.g., overstock, stock-outs, backorders)
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB), including analysis, meeting coordination, and follow-up actions

Reporting & KPI Tracking

  • Prepare regular demand and inventory reports
  • Track and maintain key supply chain KPIs related to forecast accuracy and inventory performance
  • Support supply chain data analysis
  • Improve data transparency and reporting structures

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Support implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of planning dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and data workflows
  • Support gradual automation of reporting and planning processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • First professional experience (at least 2-3 years) in supply chain, logistics, planning, business analytics, or a comparable analytical role
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis functions
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage
  • Experience or interest in data tools such as Power BI, Power Query, or SQL is highly beneficial
  • Strong interest in data analysis, planning processes, and structured problem solving
  • Basic understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain planning concepts
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); German and/or Hungarian is a plus
  • High attention to detail, structured working style, and strong analytical mindset
