Your responsibilities
- Turning science into impact. Driving sustainable innovations.
- Contribute scientific expertise from ongoing R&D projects in close collaboration with the project management team
- Translate project requirements into structured lab tasks
- Develop and optimize functional coatings for paper, with a strong focus on food contact applications
- Plan, conduct, monitor and evaluate experimental work from lab scale to piloting
- Perform literature and patent research on raw materials and technologies
- Evaluate & test new raw materials and technologies with regards to functionality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with external suppliers to identify and integrate new ingredients into the portfolio
Your profile
- University degree (BSc or MSc) in (Polymer) Chemistry, Materials Science, Paper Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial R&D
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong collaboration skills and and organized way of working
- Fluency in English, German skills are an advantage
