Contribute scientific expertise from ongoing R&D projects in close collaboration with the project management team
Translate project requirements into structured lab tasks
Develop and optimize functional coatings for paper, with a strong focus on food contact applications
Plan, conduct, monitor and evaluate experimental work from lab scale to piloting
Perform literature and patent research on raw materials and technologies
Evaluate & test new raw materials and technologies with regards to functionality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with external suppliers to identify and integrate new ingredients into the portfolio

University degree (BSc or MSc) in (Polymer) Chemistry, Materials Science, Paper Technology, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in industrial R&D
A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong collaboration skills and and organized way of working
Fluency in English, German skills are an advantage
