Manager E/E Architecture & Standardization (m/f/d)

Job Introduction

In this exciting and challenging position, you will be responsible for the global standadization of the E/E architectures process management.

Major Responsibilities

The major responsibility of E/E Architecure standardizations is to create a harmonized collaboration approach across the Magna Group.

Your tasks include the following activities:

  • Define and create a common, compliant and coherent language used in Magnas E/E architecure
  • Define and introduce Magna wide harmonized and functional SW architectures/building blocks including a harmonized SW toolchain
  • Define and introduce Magna wide harmonized and functional HW architectures/building blocks to build up a domain/zonal controller family inculding a harmonized toolchain
  • Harmonize job descriptions
  • Support the creation of training programs and courses for each standard
  • Implement a feedback loop to improve standards for future projects
  • Support existing standards, tools and job descriptions to create a best practice set of standards and communicate and train these within the group

Skills and Competencies

  • completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or automotive engineering
  • >10 years experience in the product development process in the automotive industry for complete vehicle functions, embedded software and electronic hardware
  • experience in non-automotive SW and HW development preferred
  • expertise in process management and standardization
  • knowledge of relevant standards including coding standards
  • >7 years of experience in managing (globally) distributed teams
  • strong communication skills in english and german
  • leadership competence
