Release Train Engineer (m/f/d)

Due to our sustainable growth we are looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer. In this high profiled position, you are responsible for optimal value delivery of one of our Agile Release Trains in our Customer Programs department. You manage and communicate risks on program level and foster an agile mindset. Your excellent communication skills and open personality helps to drive relentless improvements within our organization.

Your Tasks

  • Align strategy, vision and content of upcoming Program Increments with Business Owners and Product Managers and our Development Teams
  • Plan and execute all program level events (PI Planning, I&A Workshop and System Demo)
  • Remove impediments and blockers on program level
  • Optimize program executions and the flow of value delivery
  • Set up an accurate tracking of important KPIs and metrics on program level
  • Work closely with Quality Management and encourage the teams to work with built-in quality
  • Facilitate the use of same practices and methods within the separate projects/value streams within different ARTs
  • Connect to our internal agile community and help to strengthen the agile mindset

Your Profile

  • Practical experience as a Release Train Engineer is a must
  • At least one year of experience in working in an agile organization
  • Experience in scaled agile frameworks like SAFe or less is beneficial
  • Basic knowledge in functional safety
  • Embedded software development knowledge and/ or automotive software development knowledge (ASPICE, V-Model, ISO26262) is an advantage
  • Interest in working with emerging technology and transformational solutions
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with demonstrated quantitative ability
  • Excellent command of English, German is a plus

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 40,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
