What You Will Be Doing
- As Operations Intern, you will verify client identities by checking that provided data matches official identification documents.
- You will review client documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.
- You will validate that client information in internal systems is current, consistent, and correctly recorded.
- You will identify and flag discrepancies or missing data, escalating issues to the Compliance and Operations teams.
- You will help the team follow legal and regulatory rules by supporting checks that prevent fraud and money laundering (AML - Anti-Money Laundering) and confirm clients are who they say they are (KYC - Know Your Customer).
- You will maintain accurate records by updating internal systems after verification and ensuring proper audit trails.
Is This You?
- You are currently enrolled in a university program in finance, economics, business, or a related field
- You have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- You possess good analytical and organizational skills
- You have basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word)
- You are interested in banking, compliance, and regulatory processes
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have basic knowledge of German in written and spoken communication
- You are available for a limited internship of 3 to 5 months, depending on whether you join full-time or part-time

Mandatory information according to § 9 GleichbehandlungsG [Equal Treatment Act]: The gross monthly salary for a full-time internship (38,5 hours per week) is EUR 1,133.21, based on the Austrian banking collective agreement for first-year apprentices. For a part-time internship, the salary will be adjusted proportionally to the agreed working hours. The internship is limited to a period of 3 to 5 months, depending on whether it is full-time or part-time.
