Procurement - Money Management Expert (f/m/d)

How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • In this role you'll drive the planning, implementation, and optimisation of international purchasing for products and services related to / in the field of Money Management
  • Your responsibilities include the fields of credit fees, card payments, technical transactions (processing) and other merchant related costs in an international environment
  • You'll be responsible for purchasing activities, including preparation, and follow-up of contract negotiations as well as obtaining prices and reviewing offers
  • In addition, you'll conduct research in the purchasing area proactively and independently
  • As part of your job, you'll prepare and edit contracts and presentation documents
  • You'll analyse and document existing business processes and help to design new processes
  • The execution of organisational and administrative tasks are part of your area of responsibility
  • You are motivated by the task of developing strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive Procurement goals within the international business
  • You'll be part of strategic projects for the department ensuring they are executed in accordance with established timelines and objectives

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have proven professional experience in a relevant environment such as payment, loyalty, payment service provider, or the financial industry
  • You have, as a minimum, a degree level qualification in a relevant area such as Economics, Business, IT or Financial Services
  • Ideally you have experience of working in the field of Money Management in a retail and/or international company
  • You are enthusiastic about the task of consulting and negotiating with the international suppliers, service providers, and all ALDI SOUTH countries worldwide
  • MS Office and SAP are among your professional core competencies, ideally you also have experience with tender software
  • Your English language skills are excellent, additional German language skills would be advantageous
  • An independent, conscientious, flexible, and organised way of working is a matter of course for you
  • You enjoy working in a team in a collaborative environment and have good communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational and negotiation skills set you apart
  • You possess the ability to present and lead key concepts to different stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives in the relevant procurement areas

Gross annual salary starting from EUR 59.300 *
*Willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
