Trapped-ion Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) are getting ever larger and more complex, which will at eventually pose a challenge to the QPUs' routing layers. Therefore, we are looking into novel ways to increase the routing density of our QPUs. We offer a master's project in the area of multilayer stack development for trapped-ion QPUs.
