Electrical Systems Design Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role, you are responsible for developing innovative electrical solutions across the full product lifecycle, from concept to production.

Your tasks

  • Translate customer requirements and market needs into technical solutions

  • Define product requirements, technical specifications and electrical schematics

  • Develop electrical system architectures and concepts for new products

  • Design electrical systems including power and control cabinet layouts with PLC integration

  • Create circuit diagrams using EPLAN software, including bill of materials and technical documentation

  • Validate concepts and verify designs to ensure regulatory and certification compliance

  • Build, test and validate prototypes both in-house and at manufacturing sites

  • Support product launch activities and ensure handover to manufacturing and operations

Your profile

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field

  • Proven experience in electrical and/or mechatronic system design

  • Experience in product development, prototyping and testing

  • Knowledge of EPLAN for electrical schematics

  • Good understanding of regulatory and certification requirements

  • Experience with control cabinet design is an advantage

  • A self-motivated, responsible, and organized working style with the ability to manage tasks independently

  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken

  • Willingness to travel internationally for business assignments, up to 20% of the time
