Tasks
- Design and implement a secure IoT application on an MCU that collects, buffers and transmits human biosignal data to host devices.
- Ensure data security and integrity over a BLE connection.
- Develop, debug and test embedded software, including unit and integration tests with clear documentation of results.
- Create clear technical documentation and manuals for development, testing and production.
- Support the backend part of data communication (e.g. REST APIs, cloud data transfer).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, software, clinical and regulatory to align technical solutions, milestones and timelines.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or technical college (e.g. HTL) with relevant work experience in embedded systems, experience in SW development according to EN 62304 is a plus.
- Strong understanding of microcontroller programming and debugging (STM32) on bare-metal or preferably RTOS-based applications.
- Proficiency in programming C/C++. Experience with SPI, I2C, BLE. Knowledge of backend development (REST) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and experimental designs. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Fluent in English (working language).
