Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop, test and industrialize innovative Lithium-Ion Battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.

Your Mission

• Lead and manage product development projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality, performance, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, managing project schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Drive technical project execution by coordinating engineering activities and ensuring alignment with system requirements, platform strategies, and established development processes.
• Monitor technical maturity, project progress, and risk status, supporting technical decision-making while working closely with engineering experts.
• Act as the primary technical interface for customers as well as internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and regular project status reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Testing, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless project execution across all development phases.
• Support change and risk management activities while contributing to the successful industrialization of new products.

Your Expertise

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, or University) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of project management experience in product development, ideally in the automotive or e-mobility industry, with experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project. IPMA Level C (or an equivalent certification) is an advantage.
• Strong technical understanding of complex systems and product development, ideally with experience in battery development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
• Structured, proactive, and team-oriented working style, with fluent German and English and a willingness to travel.

The annual gross salary (full time/38.5 hour) for this position starts at EUR 65.000,--. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a competitive overpayment in line with the market.
