SAP Solutions Specialist

Are you at your best when business needs meet smart technology - and real progress happens fast? Step into a key role where digital transformation becomes practical outcomes across ERP and MES, right where it matters.

Why Sandvik?

At business area Machining and division Powder Solutions, we stand for innovation and a forward-looking mindset - actively driving digital transformation. In this role, you sit at the heart of that journey, connecting business and IT to strengthen value creation. We offer you the opportunity to:

  • Act in an international, dynamic environment with broad stakeholder collaboration.
  • Grow through diverse development opportunities in an international setting.
  • Benefit from home office options and a canteen with discounted meals.

About your job

As our SAP Solution Specialist, you serve as the central point of contact for business departments and support the ongoing development of ERP and MES processes. Day to day, your focus stays on bridging needs and solutions - moving initiatives forward through structured demand management, close collaboration with process owners and SAP key users, and hands-on SAP support that keeps operations running smoothly.

Job responsibilities:

  • Participate in and manage SAP projects, helping deliver improvements that support the digital landscape.
  • Support the full demand management process, including prioritization with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external SAP consultants to ensure effective delivery and collaboration.
  • Further developing business processes in close cooperation with business departments.

Location and flexibility

The preferred location is at our divisional headquarters in St. Martin, Austria, with a minimum of 30% on-site presence. Other locations in Europe could also be an option, however, presence at our site in Austria is necessary. International travel is included.

Your profile

We believe that you have an IT education with a business focus - for example business administration or business informatics - or comparable, hands-on experience in SAP support, SAP consulting, or ERP project/demand management. You bring:

  • Solid SAP specialist experience - in FI, CO MM, SD
  • Additional module knowledge in PP, PM, PS, DM or HR is valuable.
  • Fluency in German and English, verbally and in writing.

Analytical thinking and a structured approach enable you to turn complexity into progress, and an interest in digitalization keeps improvements moving in the right direction. Independent work comes naturally to you, at the same time, teamwork feels just as important - especially when priorities shift and resilience matters. Your strong communication skills make it easier to connect many different stakeholders and drive alignment without friction.
