Legal Counsel (m/f)

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

• Independently advise on, plan, lead, organize and control legal aspects of the group's business transactions governed by many jurisdictions, and provide legal solutions and guidance for them
• Advise regional internal stakeholders, e.g. Regional Business Development and Commercial Teams, Purchasing, TCS, QM, Logistics, Site Management
• Create and maintain standard forms and contracts
• National and international dispute resolution (court, arbitration, administrative proceedings)
• Engage and coordinate with law firms and notaries

Our expectations for this exciting role:

• University Degree in Law, bar exam
• 3-5 years of experience in working as legal counsel in an internationally active law firm and/or global corporation with considerable experience in corporate law and governance, commercial law and contract law
• Additional know-how in a special legal field is a plus
• English according to ALTE level 5, as well as specialized English language skills
  Intercultural sensitivity, negotiation skills, assertiveness and ability to work with a truly global and multidisciplinary team

The annual gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week approx. EUR 63,000.00, Bonus System included with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience.
