Project coordinator and PR specialist (m/f)

The Vienna Center for Logic and Algorithms (www.vcla.at) is an international research initiative by Technische Universität Wien. Located at the Faculty of Informatics, the Center promotes international scientific collaboration in logic and algorithms.

The Center offers the following position:

Project coordinator and PR specialist (m/f)

Responsibilities:

• Project management and communication of the Center's activities
• Organization of public and educational outreach events, scientific conferences, and the international visitors programme
• Coordination of various PR activities, including texting and editing web content, press releases, reports, letters, social media (FB and Twitter), flyers, etc.

Requirements:

• BA degree or equivalent in a technical, administrative or PR-related subject
• Fluent in English and German
• Excellent English writing skills
• Project management experience
• General interest in research, education, and technology
• Experience in journalism is welcome
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is of advantage
• Experience in fundraising is of advantage

In appreciation to your qualification and expert knowledge, we offer an attractive salary. Based on legal grounds, we refer to the collective contract for university staff, which sets the minimum annual gross salary to Euro 17.197,60.
