Your responsibilities include:

  • Management of existing customers
  • Focus: Papers for high-speed inkjet printing (80%) and papers as base material for technical and converting processes (20%)
  • Maintain sales relations with established customer base and grow our business
  • Identify (market map) and drive growth opportunities with local customers in the high-speed inkjet printing area in Italy
  • Conduct print tests with customers
  • Independent preparation of offers and tenders for defined products
  • Establish & maintain relationship with Italian subsidiaries of global OEMs (manufacturers of digital printing machines)
  • Initiate and explore business with the main paper converting industries such as envelope or label producers
  • Product trainings and seminars with customers
  • Strong collaboration with local sales team, central High-speed Inkjet and Technical & Converting Papers team as well as Customer Service team
  • Internal reporting based on CRM Tool

Requirements:

  • Italian - native speaker or similar
  • English - business fluent
  • Degree in a business or technical related subject
  • 3 years experience in Sales and/or Business Development
  • Experience in paper or printing industry is preferred
  • Know-how of colour management of advantage
  • Good technical understanding, openness to work in new technology fields and willingness to learn
  • Strong presentation skills and business focus
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured working approach
  • Strong customer focus
  • Positive attitude to getting things done
  • Travel time: minimum 60%

Immediate start date
Location of employment: Vienna or Milano/Lombardia

Ref. Austrian "Bundes-Gleichbehandlungsgesetz": The position is subject to the Austrian collective agreement of the "Papierindustrie" with a legal minimum wage of EUR 44,142.14 gross/year on a full-time basis plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder.
