Job Summary:
The German Copywriter is the native voice of woom across our primary revenue engine (DACH). Responsible for crafting high-converting, emotionally engaging, and brand-aligned copy, this role bridges global campaign storytelling with localized performance marketing across print, digital, e-commerce, and social channels.
Key Responsibilities:
DACH Campaign & Brand Copy: Concept, write, and refine native German copy for global product launches, 360° integrated campaigns, landing pages, CRM sequences, and retail POS.
Performance & DTC Growth Engine: Write and iterate high-velocity paid social ad copy, headlines, and microcopy to support continuous performance marketing A/B testing and CRO.
Brand Voice Governance: Own, maintain, and evolve woom’s German tone of voice guidelines, brand messaging frameworks, and terminology lexicons across all customer touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Partner: Collaborate closely with EU Marketing, Regional Sales, and E-Commerce to adapt global campaign master briefs into high-impact regional assets.
Creative Pod Integration: Partner side-by-side with Art Directors, Graphic Designers, and Video Creators to turn strategic hooks into cohesive visual and verbal stories. Work closely alongside the English Senior Copywriter to create high-performing, award-winning German copy.
Editorial QA & Peer Redundancy: Review, edit, and proofread external agency/freelancer translations to ensure 100% brand compliance, while serving as complete operational backup for the Senior Copywriter/Editorial Manager TBD.
Qualifications & Experience:
3–5 years of professional copywriting experience (agency or in-house) with a focus on D2C e-commerce, lifestyle, or premium consumer products.
Native-level German fluency with exceptional mastery of nuances, regional phrasing (DACH), and emotional storytelling.
Proven track record in performance marketing copywriting (paid social hooks, landing page conversions, newsletter sequences).
Experience working alongside design and video teams in agile, high-throughput creative studio environments.

Salary
The actual minimum salary is 3,000 € gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
