Your Contribution

In this strategic role, you will take full ownership of Tecan’s Detection Software Platform, which underpins all detection products, modules, and options in Life Sciences and clinical applications. You will:

  • Own and drive the modernization and lifecycle management of Tecan’s Detection Software Platform for all detection products.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets current and future business needs.

  • Oversee product lifecycle management for both existing and new products, from concept to phase-out.

  • Gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring compliance and integration with new technologies.

  • Monitor platform performance and drive improvements.

  • Shape the future of our platform by developing innovative solutions and challenging the status quo.

  • Bring people together, inspire collaboration, and drive projects forward with your energy and initiative.

  • Always keep customer needs at the center of your decisions and actions.

Your Background

  • Degree in Life Sciences or a technical field; further education in Sales/Marketing is a plus.

  • Experience in software/platform product management and lifecycle management.

  • Familiarity with regulatory processes (IVD, FDA, QSR, GxP).

  • Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.

  • A creative mindset, excitement for building something new, and the drive to challenge existing processes.

  • Enjoy bringing people to the table, building consensus, and taking initiative to move things forward.

  • Customer-focused and motivated to deliver solutions that make a real difference.

  • English required; German is a plus. Willingness to travel (up to 10%).

Salary

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obliged to state the minimum monthly salary of EUR 4.819,51 (classification according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry based on full-time 38.5 hours/week) as a basis for negotiation. A significant overpayment is envisaged depending on training, qualifications, and experience.
