Tasks
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across markets, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation in line with agreed governance frameworks
- Own project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgets
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with government and state lottery client stakeholders at both technical and executive levels, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide clear, structured progress reporting to internal leadership and clients, including risk and issue escalation, milestone tracking, and executive-level status updates
- Translate complex technical requirements into actionable project plans, working closely with engineering and operations teams to define feasible, long-term delivery approaches
- Develop a thorough understanding of product and solution requirements — including deployment environments, performance criteria, integration constraints, and end-user considerations — to ensure delivery outcomes meet client expectations
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, industry standards, and regulatory developments within the lottery and gaming sector to inform sound project decision-making
Requirements
- Background studies in IT desired
- A minimum of 10 years of professional project management experience
- Experience in the lottery, gaming, or sports betting industries is preferred
- Must understand backend technologies and have basic database skills
- Fluency in German and strong English skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required
- Ability to bridge between customers, account managers, developers and testers
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment
- Willingness to travel/flexibility to work at customer sites and/or other SG locations
- Project management certificates are a nice-to-have (eg. PMI, IPMA)

Salary
We are legally obliged to provide a reference to the minimum salary of € 4.476.- gross per month for 38,5 hours / week, according to the current IT CBA. However, we would like to emphasize that there is a strong willingness to make adjustments to the remuneration based on your professional experience and qualifications.
