IT Application Manager - EMIR/MIFID (m/f/d)


Job Summary

The IT Application Manager ensures a reliable, safe and sound operation of the EMIR/MIFID reporting, coordinates the end to end service management process of the application including coordination and escalation with any 3rd parties involved and takes over responsibility for the technical implementation of all software changes related to the application as well as optimizing related IT processes and IT architecture.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure frictionless end-to-end EMIR/MiFID reporting process and the operations of the respective applications.
  • Responsible for incident, bug tracking and escalation. Manage defect solving, including root cause analysis. Manage service levels and escalation.
  • Provide business analysis support to the stakeholders in the bank related to EMIR/MifiD reporting.
  • Daily support of group reporting through one central infrastructure.
  • Support projects with definition of requirements for daily IT operations (e.g. job schedule for end-of-day processing, user authorization)
  • Documentation and analysis of errors as well as communication with subsidiary banks, vendors and project management.
  • Adaptation and continuous optimization of the configuration. Regular review and cleanup of static data in database.
  • Alignment of changes and adaptations related to EMIR/MIFID reporting with internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for staging and release management.
  • Regular analysis of the changes published by authorities. Prepare requirements and specifications for developments and other process improvements, as well as overseeing their implementation.
  • Provide support for end-users and projects with profound understanding of the functionality provided by the IT landscape

Your Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
  • University degree in either Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology or similar field
  • Basic understanding of general banking business and deep understanding of Treasury products
  • Project and testmanagement knowhow
  • Functional knowledge about IT applications
  • Preferably SQL, Oracle know how
  • Profound EMIR/MiFiD know-how
  • Experience in regulatory reporting
  • Fluency in English, German is an advantage, any other CEE language nice to have

Monthly gross salary starting from EUR2.949,02,- based on our collective bargaining agreement (for 38,5 hours/week) - additional payment according to skills and experience. The position can be filled as soon as possible.
