Application Manager (f/m/x) for Geos Services

The Geos Core and Service team plays a vital role in supporting and advancing key platforms responsible for custody and settlement processes within Group Prime Services. The team's primary focus areas include ensuring system reliability and monitoring in the Service hours between 8:00 and 18:00. In addition, the team provides essential support for several applications and interfaces, which are critical for custodial accounts and related compliance processes.

Your Role on the Team:

  • Be responsible for the operation, monitoring and issue resolving of the system of applications
  • Run daily operation and work independently on tasks and requests from our stakeholders and follow the incident resolving steps, if necessary
  • Create reports (SQL) for different stakeholders and maintain and execute the UA testing
  • Communicate with the users for solving issues, analyzing problems and getting in contact with the vendors independently
  • Become a substitute for dedicated topics and drive them pro-actively as a responsible SPOC
  • Collaborate with the team in upcoming projects as well as in daily operations
  • Creation and maintenance of process documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements within the IT process framework

Your core competencies:

  • Work experience in application management in banking or a related field
  • Education in Computer Science or similar
  • Sound knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Grafana and Service Now
  • Experience in maintaining, monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting applications along with their supporting systems and interfaces
  • Proactive and communicative attitude to be in contact with our users, stakeholders and vendors to clarify open questions as well as creating requirement specifications
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and think outside of the box to challenge processes for further improvement
  • Experience with AI tools to support efficiency
  • Fluency in English and at least B2 level German proficiency, as some tasks require reading and speaking German

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Geos products
  • Experience with testing with the tool Zephyr
  • Knowledge of custodial accounting and related processes
