Your main tasks and responsibilites

  • Contribute to the development of innovative purification processes for plasma proteins at laboratory scale
  • Support the implementation of new equipment technologies (advanced chromatography systems, filtration technologies)
  • Support the development and integration of inline analytical tools and automation solutions
  • Perform and support the optimization of protein purification methods (e.g. precipitation, chromatography and filtration)
  • Perform accompanying in-process analytics
  • Ensure GxP-compliant documentation and evaluation of experimental results
  • Select, supervise, qualify, and maintain laboratory equipment and process technologies
  • Contribute to laboratory organization

Your expertise and ideal skill set

  • HTL diploma, technical college, or BSc in biotechnology, chemistry, or a related discipline
  • 2-5 years of relevant laboratory experience in R&D or manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art chromatography systems and filtration technologies; experience in continuous processing is an advantage
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and experience with laboratory software or data analysis tools is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding, analytical mindset, interest and initiative in establishing new technologies
  • High level of motivation, flexibility, and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, proactive team player with quality awareness and structured working style
  • Fluent German and good English language skills

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 3.395,16 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
