The position

As of now we are seeking a Junior Patient Safety Specialist to join our team in RCV (Regional Center Vienna) dedicated to ensuring patient safety and high‑quality healthcare standards. In this role, you'll support key operational processes that keep our department running smoothly. Step into a role where your attention to detail and passion for learning make a real impact. This position is offered as a 90% part‑time role.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive operational and administrative support to the Patient Safety Managers RCV and the Head of Department.
  • Managing administrative systems, including travel arrangements, time management, and purchasing workflows.
  • Overseeing the department service mailbox and distribution lists; ensure proper documentation maintenance and archiving.
  • Supporting the organization of departmental meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Contributing to the creation and execution of awareness activities, surveys, content development, and newsletters.

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific field (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or a regulatory environment is an advantage.
  • Administrative experience and familiarity with compliance processes are desirable.
  • Fluent English; German or other local languages are an advantage.
  • Strong willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and a collaborative team orientation.

The minimum gross annual salary for this position is EUR 45.000 per year (full-time) according to the classification in the collective bargaining agreement for the chemical industry. Depending on professional experience and qualifications, we offer an overpayment.
