Are you ready to manage the product development of innovative automotive components from the initial idea to pre-series production? As the main technical contact for our OEM customers, you are the interface between vision and reality. If you combine materials expertise with excellent project management and enjoy working purposefully towards the best solution, we offer you a key role in a dynamic environment!
Your Tasks:
- You drive product development from the initial design phase up to pre-series production.
- You are the main technical contact for our current and potential customers (OEMs). This includes developing solution proposals, presentations, analyses of customer specifications, and much more.
- You define the product in detail, determine the material structure, and ensure technical feasibility - always taking specific customer requirements into account.
- You develop and finalize the necessary tender documents.
- You competently represent the corporate group externally, especially when presenting technical changes.
- In close consultation with the customer, you define the scope of testing and are responsible for the entire test planning in cooperation with our laboratory.
- You continuously monitor ongoing development activities to identify potential early on and prevent problems proactively.
What impresses us:
- You have completed a technical education (HTL, FH, University).
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience - ideally in the automotive sector or a closely related technical environment.
- Experience in the product development of acoustic parts (engine compartment), interior, or trunk components is a major plus.
- Very good command of written and spoken English is essential for international cooperation with our customers.
- Good user knowledge of MS Excel and Google Workspace will make your daily work easier.
- CAD knowledge (Catia V5), as well as SAP knowledge, is an advantage.
