If you're passionate about turning data into reliable, scalable solutions and excited about using your analytical skills and rigor to improve how products flow across a global supply chain - this role is for you. And if you enjoy tough puzzles, inventive ways to crack them, as well as opportunities to explain your solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, - then this role is doubly for you.
In this position, you'll be a key contributor to global Data Science projects focused on inventory optimisation and risk management initiatives, transforming raw data into actionable insights and helping shape decisions that directly impact availability, cost, and service levels worldwide. You'll combine strong coding skills with analytical structure, and you're comfortable balancing engineering tasks with clear, compelling storytelling for business audiences.
You'll understand how to build clean, maintainable data pipelines; you enjoy diving into operational datasets; and you know how to formulate the right analyses to answer our most pressing questions. You'll collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Data Science colleagues to deliver end-to-end solutions.
You'll support the team by efficiently managing, running, and delivering Data Science projects with a key focus on our Operations stakeholders. This end-to-end approach includes everything from project scoping, execution, quality assurance, and delivery via convincing presentations.
Not focusing exclusively on existing service lines and initiatives, you'll actively think along and propose new ways of generating even more value for our stakeholders.
You'll build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Thanks to your collaborative attitude and ability to absorb constructive feedback, you will maximise the likelihood of making each and every Data Science initiative a success for the company.
You'll work inside the Data Science Team and you'll support them with impact tracking, project and pipeline planning, preparing materials for the planning cycles, internal trainings, onboarding new colleagues, internal and external outreach and more.
