The unit Operations Control is part of Group Banking Services and is acting as competence center for Erste Group Bank AG and to a certain extend groupwide. We are responsible for Nostro- and Internal Account reconciliation as well as for the SWIFT messaging services. As SWIFT and Reconciliation Competence Center we are the interface between Erste Digital (solution management), our external vendors and internal business lines. In order to serve our internal and external clients regarding remaining processing tasks, we need to ensure service times between 07:30 and 17:00 as well as smooth operations also on Austrian Holidays which will be allocated within the team in respective shifts

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the processes including C/I ratio by using digitalization for continuous elimination of non-value add activities balancing costs and flexibility
• Responsible for monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements incl. ensuring of compliance with existing ones
• Process management (ongoing review and update of the processes)
• Identify, analyse, describe and hand over of new processing tasks to processing teams (either outsourced or not)
• Ongoing alignment with our internal customers towards requirements, wishes, expectations, optimizations,…
• Define and implement improvement initiatives to increase quality of processes and to reduce costs incl. set up of transparent KPIs to measure the outcome
• You contribute to projects by taking over agreed roles and tasks and deliver agreed project tasks according to timeline, scope and budget

Your Background

• You ideally have initial relevant professional experience (3-4 years) and/or knowledge about SWIFT related topics and/or other operations areas
• Well-developed skills of MS Office
• Knowledge and/or interest in IT is of high advantage
• A high degree of independence and team spirit
• Fluent in English; good German skills is of high advantage

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 39.500,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
