As a Project Analyst/Manager in our Embedded AI Research Unit, you will play a key role in helping the group drive forward ground-breaking research initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee financial planning and controlling in alignment with the division's business plan.
  • Technical controlling of project portfolio of the research unit.
  • Provide crucial support in project planning, controlling, and resource planning.
  • Expertly handling project contract management, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external enquiries, skilfully coordinating communications for the research unit.
  • Provide key support in planning and implementation of various activities to enhance the unit's efficacy.
  • Contribute to the success of events and marketing activities by meticulously organizing and coordinating logistics.
  • Prepare comprehensive documents for meetings and workshops to ensure a polished and professional presentation.
  • Demonstrate linguistic finesse by drafting reports and undertaking translation and proofreading tasks, leveraging proficiency in both English and German.
  • Facilitate clear and efficient communication within the unit, ensuring a harmonious working environment.
  • Provide backup support to administrative and support staff as required, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to the unit's smooth operation.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in a scientific field such as computer science, mechatronics, physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in research project support, project management or related roles.
  • Interest in the interface between science and technology including project management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and deal effectively in a variety of situations.

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in Non-University Research (Research CA), starting with occupational group D. We offer a competitive salary and additional benefits commensurate with your experience and qualifications. For this position, your minimum monthly salary starts at EUR 3,141 (full-time basis for 38.5 hours per week), paid 14 times a year.
