The software developer is part of an agile development team and designs and implements new product functionalities based on the market requirements of product management and the UI concepts of our UI/UX experts. The employee fulfills the quality requirements for the product and corrects defects identified by quality assurance.

Job description

  • Independent development of software features for the asset management of rail infrastructure according to the technical requirements of product management
  • Consideration of IT and information security requirements for operating the solution in the cloud (SaaS) or at the customer's site (on-premise)
  • Full stack development, i.e. database design (PostgreSQL), business logic/backend (.NET/C#) and frontend development (TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Continuous improvement of the development processes in order to increase the efficiency and quality
  • Project handling in an agile environment and a close design-development-feedback-loop (sprints)
  • Being part of the sustainable rail industry of the future

Salary package and benefits: The collective minimum monthly salary for this position is EUR 3.724,00 (monthly gross salary, 14 x per year). Willingness to overpayment depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree (college/university) or hands-on experience in .NET or Java as well as XML and SQL
  • Multiple years of experience in implementing full stack applications (.NET/C#/Web)
  • Domain know-how in the area of Rail Infrastructure or Asset Management is an advantage
  • Knowledge of German is a plus, but communication is in English
