We are currently in search of a dedicated Procurement Associate to join the team in Vienna 1230.
Your role:
- As a Procurement Associate you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods, maintaining optimal stock levels, and effectively planning orders to meet demand.
- You facilitate clear communication with import/export departments and suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and minimize shortages, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Furthermore you coordinate the signing of supplier contracts in line with company strategies, while also managing supplier and product databases for accuracy and completeness.
- Together with the Head of Procurement, you will be involved in stratgic tasks, generating crucial reports for strategic decision-making, participating in supplier selection processes, and maintaining strong supplier relations to uphold organizational objectives.
Your profile:
- You should possess a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with around 2-3 years of experience in procurement/ logistics.
- Fluent in English and German is essential, as the company operates on an international scale.
- Demonstrated ability to lead successful procurement negotiations, including partner identification, introduction of new products, and effective price management.
- Proficiency in IT, including the ability to conduct Excel evaluations and analyze the current market situation, is highly desirable.
