Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop, test and industrialize innovative Lithium-Ion Battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.

Your core responsibilities are:

• Execution of tests (electrical, mechanical, environmental & abuse) on lithium-ion battery systems and their components in internal test lab
• Planning and preparation of test setups (selection of sensors and test equipment; conceptual design of fixtures and adapters)
• Coordination and supervision of tests at external test facilities including business trips for on-site support
• Development of test cases based on customer requirements and internal requirements
• Analysis and interpretation of test data
• Documentation of test results
• Attendance during physical analysis of batteries and documentation of issues and conspicuities
• Close cooperation with Product Development regarding analysis and elimination of issues

What you need is:

• Completed university degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation engineering or higher technical education with 3 years working experience
• Interdisciplinary understanding (high voltage, electrics/electronics, mechanics, software)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Independent, systematic and process-oriented approach, high commitment and sense of responsibility
• Experience in the fields of battery systems, automotive testing and vehicle technology preferred
• Very good English skills, German is an advantage

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 46.000,--

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
