Job description

Taking on your new role, you will be at the forefront of designing and validating innovative algorithms for exciting use cases. Your expertise in IC architectural implications and your ability to evaluate and implement both ML and classical Signal Processing concepts will be crucial. Beyond borders, you'll collaborate with brilliant minds from various Infineon sites, shaping strategic roadmaps and a product portfolio that impacts the world.

Your new role at a glance:

  • Design and validate use cases and use case-specific algorithms (e.g., Ranging, Access, Sensing) and associated concepts
  • Define requirements and develop system models, ensuring integration across higher and lower layers
  • Address IC architectural implications (e.g., DSP versus controller)
  • Evaluate and implement ML and classical Signal Processing concepts
  • Implement algorithms using Matlab, Python, C, or equivalent languages
  • Contribute to standardization efforts

Profile

You embody a unique combination of technical prowess, and a passion for innovation. Additionally, you possess exceptional communication and collaboration skills, fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Your toolkit for success includes:

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or a related field
  • A minimum of5+ years of solid expertise in UWB system design and architecture, demonstrating a proven track record of success
  • Sound experience in the area of UWB systems; BLE - RF is of advantage
  • Proficiency in the design of automotive applications is an asset
  • Fluency in English. German skills are a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf).
