Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Work closely with analog design engineers creating the layout of the analog circuit blocks/subsystems in an advanced CMOS technology
  • Be responsible for the floor planning, placemen t and routing of hierarchical analog blocks based on schematics while following technology guidelines (Design Rule Checks) and other requirements (shielding, spacing, matching)
  • Take over part- or full-ownership for the entire chip layout and associated team which includes performing the tape out and checking the production masks for correctness
  • Perform the tape out, which includes ordering the production masks and checking them for correctness (JDV) after design finalization
  • Work interfacing to circuit and package designers contributing to a high quality of the final product
  • Participate in establishing new CAD and physical design methodologies

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A Higher Technical School (HTL) / University or University of AppliedSciences degree (B.Sc) in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or comparable
  • 3+ years' experience in analog layout of circuits and in CMOS
  • Good understanding on function of integrated circuits and according topics such as matching, noise, coupling, shielding and IR drop
  • Analog design/layout flow know-how in Cadence environment
  • Experience in advanced CMOS technologies below 65 nm desired
  • Experience with layout creation for high frequencies (up to 80GHz) desired
  • Fluent English required, German is a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2022.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
