Be part of a successful agile team in Red Bull Media House that values collaboration, pragmatism and ownership. Join us on our mission for beyond the ordinary entertainment. We, as Media Technology & IT department, are responsible for all media technology within the Red Bull Media House. In this exciting role, you will design and craft new applications in close contact with your team, our stakeholders and development teams. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business and technology and ensuring value is delivered with each application increment. You will actively architect solutions bringing in your software engineering background.
You will become a strong member within a self-organizing team living agile methodologies. Giving the team the freedom and responsibility to take full ownership of the applications they provide. We automate if possible, measure results, share feedback and respect each other. We foster a culture of appreciation where it is safe to make mistakes, to learn and to improve.
To maintain our ability to tell beyond the ordinary stories, you will identify emergent technology trends and opportunities. You will formulate build or buy decisions based on feasibility studies and business cases, taking technical options, costs and expected business value into account. Keep a close eye on the market landscape for insights, directions, vendors and methods.
You will iterate fast on ideas by creating proof of concepts (PoC). After validating with business, you will carry the PoC to a fully-fledged application alongside a development team. By specifying workflows, defining interfaces, drafting UX and screen designs you will constantly steer our software engineers to bring the application to production-readiness.
