We are searching for an enthusiastic Visual Merchandising Specialist, who will be responsible for creating inspiring store solutions together with a new SISAN (Store in Shape as New) Project Team we are currently establishing.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Passion for home furnishing, retail, design and people's home lifestyle
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or similar; master or postgraduate specialization will be considered a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and layout software (Autocad/Revit)
  • Passion for working in a team environment
  • Customer focused mindset
  • Strong project management skills
  • Fluent English, German is NOT a prerequisite
  • Willingness to be mobile within Austria to contribute to other regional projects is advantageous

In the upcoming months and years we will have many rebuilds in our IKEA stores (mainly Vienna market - IKEA Westbahnhof, Wien Nord and Vösendorf), for which we will need your ideas and craftmanship. In your role as a Visual Merchandising Specialist these opportunities to prove and further develop your skills are waiting for you:

  • Create new commercial solutions across multiple Store-In-Shape-As-New (SISAN) projects
  • Accelerate your career through exposure to the latest commercial techniques
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, across multiple stores in Greater Vienna and grow your network
  • Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity by working with store layout, range presentation and vitality in the store
  • Use the knowledge of people's needs and dreams in the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels, meet the many individual tastes and exceed our visitor's expectations
  • Work on the shop floor, climb ladders, use screwdrivers and other tools for implementing new solutions

As a Visual Merchandising Specialist you will be part of a multifunctional project team, consisting of 10 highly motivated colleagues. Together you will be planning and implementing various projects in different IKEA stores. This will be the perfect opportunity to expand your home furnishing knowledge as well as your professional network.

For this fulltime position we offer you a yearly gross salary starting from EUR 27.440 (on fulltime base - 38,5h/week). We are willing to pay more depending on experience and qualification.
