At smaXtec, we develop a unique health management system for dairy cows, using smart algorithms and AI applications to revolutionize herd health and sustainability.

YOUR ROLE

  • Explore and analyze complex IoT sensor data to uncover meaningful signals and patterns

  • Develop and refine features from raw time-series data using analytical and signal processing techniques

  • Design and run experiments to validate ideas and assess their potential impact

  • Translate ambiguous problems into data-driven hypotheses and iterate quickly on solutions

  • Collaborate with domain experts to explore data-driven ideas and validate their potential impact

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong curiosity for complex data and underlying patterns, with an interest in time-series data and IoT sensor data

  • Solid foundation in statistics, mathematics and computer science

  • Hands-on experience in data analysis, feature engineering, and rapid prototyping

  • Solid SQL and Python skills (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and the ability to apply basic machine learning methods (e.g., classification, regression) where useful

  • Comfortable working in fast iteration cycles and cross-functional teams
