As a Software Engineer, you will play an important role in contributing to the team’s goals. You will be working alongside a team of experienced engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to design, develop, and test new features that enhance our product’s capabilities and user experience for our customers. Position Responsibilities
- Deliver high performance software solutions using established software architecture patterns and best practices in PHP
- Design, develop, document, and deploy features and applications in our datacenters and cloud environments
- Ensure application security, performance, uptime, and scalability
- Collaborate with the Product Management team and Engineering leadership on new features and functionality
- Demonstrate an ongoing passion for learning and improving the IXOPAY platform, the payment markets, and client use cases
- Maintain and evolve our infrastructure to support the growing volume of products, APIs and integrations.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in software development with PHP and common PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, Doctrine)
- Solid knowledge in web technologies and relational and non-relational databases
- Very good English skills, comfortable with consuming and writing API documentation
- General knowledge of distributed systems, complex APIs and API design
- Can design software components for scalability, testability, supportability and maintainability
- Can balance attention to detail and pragmatic approaches as applicable
- Understands the product and software development process and tooling (preferably Agile).

Salary
The collective agreement minimum salary is 3,843 € gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis). The salary is paid 14 times per year. The collective agreement Informationstechnologie, Datenverarbeitung (IT) applies. The actual salary will be discussed in the interview process and is market level pay above the CLA.
Overtime
Any accrued overtime is partially compensated in the form of time off and partially paid out.
