AOP Health is the European pioneer for integrated therapies for rare diseases and in critical care. To enhance our team in Vienna we are looking for an:

Accountant (fixed- term until 31.05.2028)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial accounting, statutory compliance, and high-quality financial reporting within an international and growing pharmaceutical organization.

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like

  • Managing daily accounting activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Preparing financial reports and assisting with statutory audits and financial statements.
  • Processing accounts payable and receivable activities and maintaining master data. Managing fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations.
  • Managing fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations.
  • Supporting tax filings and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and legal requirements.
  • Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies while maintaining high data quality.
  • Contributing to process improvements, automation, and finance digitalization initiatives.

Your Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Accounting qualification or ongoing professional certification.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Austrian GAAP (UGB) accounting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (ideally Navision).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Hands-on mindset, flexibility, strong team orientation, and the willingness to continuously learn and develop.

  • Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to disclose the collective agreement minimum salary, which is EUR 40.306,- gross per year, based on full-time employment. However, our actual remuneration packages are market-oriented and aligned with your qualifications and professional experience.
