We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial accounting, statutory compliance, and high-quality financial reporting within an international and growing pharmaceutical organization.
What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
- Managing daily accounting activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Preparing financial reports and assisting with statutory audits and financial statements.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable activities and maintaining master data. Managing fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations.
- Managing fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations.
- Supporting tax filings and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and legal requirements.
- Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies while maintaining high data quality.
- Contributing to process improvements, automation, and finance digitalization initiatives.
Your Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Accounting qualification or ongoing professional certification.
- 2+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of IFRS and Austrian GAAP (UGB) accounting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (ideally Navision).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
- Hands-on mindset, flexibility, strong team orientation, and the willingness to continuously learn and develop.

- Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to disclose the collective agreement minimum salary, which is EUR 40.306,- gross per year, based on full-time employment. However, our actual remuneration packages are market-oriented and aligned with your qualifications and professional experience.
